Paula Powers
Paula Powers is the Marketing Director for The Carlyle House. Paula has been with The Carlyle House since before the doors opened, working closely with the Owner, Executive Director and Health Care Director to make our special vision of "a fresh new approach to senior living" a reality. She has vast experience and knowledge in senior care, working in both the Assisted Living and Home Care businesses. Her experience in Assisted Living includes Alzheimer's Specialty Care. Paula's desire is to help residents and their families with the difficult transition most families face when their loved one ages. Her favorite saying is, "I love nothing more than knowing I have made a difference in someone's life. My goal is to enhance each and every resident's life by giving them the opportunity to fulfill all aspects of their senior years with dignity and respect. I enjoy talking with seniors; they are so interesting and a talking history lesson." Senior care is Paula's passion.
Paula has been active in numerous charities and organizations including The Junior League of Dayton, American Cancer Society, Boonshoft Musuem, Kettering City Schools and the Alzheimer's Association, to name a few and believes in giving back to the community.
Paula is a native Daytonian, raised in Oakwood and attended Oakwood High School and Hillsdale College. Paula currently lives in Kettering with her husband Tim and they have two sons, Grant and Nate.
